Well things seem to be looking up, with more shoppers out and online this weekend. We can expect this continue. Wall Street Strategies analyst Brian Sozzi was quoted "The holiday season is no longer black Friday or bust, it's really becoming Black November". (Forbes.com) This increase in consumerism, it's important for retailers to stay aggressive through the season. Retail buying happens at such a rate that no one can afford to wait for event days.
Once the main holiday gifting season has passed, it will then turn to the challenge of retailers maintaining such interest and investment for Valentine's Day...
