Happy Opal October!
HAPPY BIRTHSTONES!
Happy Birthday October babies! New York is currently enjoying summer weather right now so live it up like you've never done before! (Seriously, how often in your life could you have celebrated a birthday without a jacket? Miami excluded.) While you're basking in sunlight, you can add to it with cute opal accessories. Not a pink fan? Opal is one of the versatile stones. What makes it really interesting is its incredibly wide ranging differences. It goes from milky to incandescent to practically on fire, quite convenient for a birthstone. October can truly represent each day's individuality with Opal as its birthstone. Not everyone likes their birthstone (sorry November Citrine) but with opal, you can customize and always find a suitable shade. Happy Hunting!

Long, lean and clean is the new mantra for your ears for 2013. We've seen chandeliers, hoops, and even tassel silhouettes. Now it's time for linear earrings to take their turn in the spotlight. JewelMak has really taken the new trend to heart and we've been expanding our line with longer drop earrings, which allow more room for color mixing. The extra length adds a flavor of elegance to your ensemble and really puts a swing into your step! Take a look through to preview some of our hand selected favorites.

Lights, Brights, & Burgundy! It's the 2012 Emmys!
It's the biggest night for prime time TV and all the biggest stars of the small screen came out in their Sunday best to celebrate all of television, even the programs that require no mental activity whatsoever.
It was a colorful red carpet this year with TV's leading ladies stepping out in bright yellow, red, green, and blue. Complimenting those ensembles was a resurgence in statement jewelry; most impressive were the earrings.
Earrings are truly one size fits all so its the best go to jewelry piece, but in the past couple of years the red carpet has been pretty bare of unique and sculptural earrings. This time, nothing was held back.

White Hot
White is the new Black! Neutral tone jewelry can be so drab to the point of non existence, so why not punch up your accessories with white jewelry?
Neutrals have been a fashion trend for a while and sometimes that doesn’t necessarily translate to really wearable or fashionable items. We at JewelMak, find that while white is bright enough to be its own trend
