Happy Opal October!

HAPPY BIRTHSTONES!

Happy Birthday October babies! New York is currently enjoying summer weather right now so live it up like you've never done before! (Seriously, how often in your life could you have celebrated a birthday without a jacket? Miami excluded.) While you're basking in sunlight, you can add to it with cute opal accessories.

Not a pink fan? Opal is one of the versatile stones. What makes it really interesting is its incredibly wide ranging differences. It goes from milky to incandescent to practically on fire, quite convenient for a birthstone. October can truly represent each day's individuality with Opal as its birthstone. Not everyone likes their birthstone (sorry November Citrine) but with opal, you can customize and always find a suitable shade. Happy Hunting!

Many of the leading ladies chose a bare collar bone over a statement necklace, yet statement earrings were still going strong. Lorraine Schwartz was a favorite and very on trend with vintage style earrings in various gems besides diamonds. Just in time for the Great Gatsby. Julianne Moore was a walking billboard for having good connections with her Tom Ford dress and Bvlgari jewelry. The dramatic drop earrings and statement cuff were unexpected accessories to such a simplistic dress. It pays to be BFF's with Tom Ford
