Stay Warm!

If red is too much for you, try other warm tones such as coral or deep orange. You'll be seeing lots of those this fall/winter season. Coral is warm, bright and powerfully feminine while deep orange has always been a fall favorite and this season is no exception.

The November issue of Good Housekeeping features actress/talk show host Kelly Ripa on the cover wearing JewelMak's gold overlay bangles from the Eclipse collection.

Match Maker Series: Fall Double Edition

We are jumping ahead in our Match Maker Series right into the Fall 2010 color scheme from the Pantone fashion color report and doubling up our color selection. This month we're mad about Lipstick Red and Woodbine. These two colors are stand outs on their own but can also be complimentary with each other when balanced evenly together.

Layering necklaces, long and short, is a trend that has carried over from the past two seasons. Compiling the different assortments can be fun but sometimes you just may not have the time to mix and match. JewelMak's new layered bib necklaces solves that issue with fashionable results.

Latest in Larimar

Larimar is a one of a kind stone. Meaning that no matter how many times a style is reproduced, the stone will never have the same pattern twice. And despite its Caribbean origins, this stone can go from summer fun to winter ice for a look that's all year round. Below you'll find some of our latest styles:

JewelMak's latest in our larimar stone collection maintains its simplicity while introducing some vintage inspired chandelier details.

Our new elongated ellipse larimar ring compliments all hand types and elongates your fingers

Being a very hard stone to cut, Larimar is at its best in asymmetrical shapes. It makes for a bolder statement without having to being oversized.

All styles shown are available upon request from JewelMak at 212.398.2999. More styles are available online at www.jewelmak.com

Match Maker Series: Dried Herb

Get in tune with Mother Earth this year.

There is no better time to be fashionably green than now. Of all the colors featured, Dried Herb is what we will call the "Earthiest". One benefit of wearing this darker, muted green is that you can wear any type of metal jewelry - gold, silver, blackened silver, rose gold - it all works. Despite its muted look, wearing such a color during the summer season is more bold than wearing red or yellow. Its unexpected. For all the truly fashion savvy out there, Dried Herb also transitions well into this coming fall/winter season, which means you can keep some of those summer clothes and accessories and mix and match with your winter ones.

JewelMak's multi gemstone necklace color palette compliments the earthy green tone of Dried Herb. A mix of citrine, tourmaline, and smokey quartz stones can easily be worn into the Fall season. At 36 inches the length keeps it young and fresh. But if you're looking for something more traditional, JewelMak has a 2 row princess length version as well.

Being bold is not just about wearing bright colors like red and yellow. Being bold also can is just being different and forward thinking. Wearing a muted color during the summer is different and pairing it with sparkling gems is like icing on the cake.

The Chandelier Debate

The Chandelier earring is back in the forefront this coming fall season. But were they ever really gone? We believe that chandeliers and big drops will always be fashionable no matter what the current trend is. Of course chandeliers come in so many variations, from the ornate to the multi layered, making it very versatile.

In today's age of the independent career woman, a fashionable and functional day to night look is a must have. Chandelier earrings are an item that can translate easily. It can act as the compliment or the signature piece of an ensemble. At this year's Academy Awards, ingenue actress Carey Mulligan rocked these large diamond chandeliers.

They brought the attention to her face and elongated her neck creating an elegant look to compliment her edgy Prada dress.

Chandeliers can be an everyday look as well. Take JewelMak's popular gemstone chandeliers. These best sellers are the perfect styles to go from the office to a night out on the town.

Simply put, you can never be without a good chandelier....earring.
