A May to December Romance with 2014's Hottest Colors
According to the Haper's BAZAAR Fall runway 2014 trend report, gray is the neutral palette this season. Which is the perfect backdrop for the color of the season: Radiant Orchid. These two colors combined make for a very chic ensemble; from the CEO to the flirt, the combination creates a dynamic effect.
OFFICE
Most office environments require a fashionista to keep things minimal and classy. Simple silhouettes and matching sets always do the trick., but with this year's #1 color, your usual work attire will have a much needed color boost.

FUN & FLIRTY
For the girly girl that loves a bit of frill, beaded styles always give you an extra playful edge. Mix that with the super feminine Radiant Orchid hue of the moment, and you've got great date night options!

GLAM
Whether you go glamorously elegant or glamorously bold, Radiant Orchid fits for both a night out
downtown or uptown.

Alright, alright, alright...
Gemstones were the trend on the red carpet at the Oscars this year! Big drops, colorful facets and very few hot messes! This was an overall generally pleasant Oscars, which for those that love a hot mess, equals boring.
Amy Adams led the pack of colored drops with her Tiffany & Co. gold earrings with rhodochrosite, lapis lazuli, turquoise and diamonds from their Blue Book 2014 Collection. They were paired with equally colorful ring and bracelet featuring yellow diamonds. Accenting her structural Gucci gown in deep royal blue.
Illusion cuff earrings made an appearance. Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong'o wore tiny cuff silhouette diamond earrings from Fred Leighton, Sandra Bullock in pear shape diamonds that curled up her ear by Lorraine Schwartz, and Maria Menuenos wore cuff like earrings from Dove jewelry that complemented her romantic beauty look and slightly bridal dress.
Girl-Next-Door/Most-Popular-Girl-In-School/Consistent-Klutz Jennifer Lawrence repeated two years worth of Oscar looks with a red column gown by Dior and a backlace look from. It seems cutting your hair short in Hollywood makes you 'brave' and 'fashion forward'. In Lawrence's case, it just looks 'old'. She's a beautiful girl, but that cut is not flattering. Leave it to Annette Bening.
Overall, we're excited to see how this year's red carpet will reflect in the tastes of the regular people of the world. Colorful drops? Large diamonds? More backlace?
Proving to the world that her earlobes are better than ours, Cate Blanchett wore enormous drop earrings by Chopard in white gold with opals and diamonds. No one seemed to loooove her Armani Privé dress, as is the usual practice with 'Red Carpet Cate Blanchett'. But we can certainly appreciate it, just not sure how she sat comfortably in it for over 3 hours. All those crystal shards... She had a friend in the clustered diamonds department in Charlize Theron who wore an almost matching Y necklace with clustered flawless diamond drop by Harry Winston.
